Grand Arcade Panda Meander promotional stand, 30-31 May 2026 – Cambridge
We will be hosting a two-day promotional stand at Grand Arcade to promote sponsorship of panda sculptures for our Spring 2027 public art trail, Panda Meander. This forms part of the centre’s wider Let’s Go Circular initiative.
Volunteers will support by chatting to members of the public, sharing sponsorship information, supporting a simple panda thumbprint craft activity, and handing out promotional materials.
The Panda Meander trail will raise vital funds for children’s services at Addenbrooke’s and The Rosie, including the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital.

Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival, 5 September 2026 – Fen Ditton Meadows, Cambridge
The Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival is once again in aid of ACT and will be taking place at Ditton Meadows, Fen Ditton.
The event is a great day out for companies and community groups who enter the racing, but also an exciting day trip for families to spectate as it hosts a range of bankside entertainment to compliment the racing. It is a full day event, and we are looking for volunteers who may be able to help in either the morning or the afternoons, or all day if you really prefer!
Roles include staffing the ACT gazebo which will include a fundraising activity, networking with the business teams, cheering on the races.

Grantchester Charity Runs, 27 September 2026 – Grantchester, Cambridgeshire
The Grantchester Charity Runs is back and once again will be supporting ACT and Maggies. Runners can opt to take on the 10k or the 3k route through attractive farmland adjacent to Grantchester.
Your support will include supporting with the registration of runners on the day, handing out medals and assisting with trophy handover

Presents Galore, 27 – 29 November 2026 – Newmarket
Presents Galore is East Anglia’s largest annual Christmas Fair. ACT and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital (CCH) have once again been chosen to be one of three charity beneficiaries.
ACT has a great opportunity to host a stall at the fair. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the stall. Here, we will look to sell Christmas cards, and raffle tickets for the event’s main raffle and we are also looking into other activities, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of the Cambridge Children’s Hospital’s plans.

TCS London Marathon, 25 April 2027 – London
Join us in cheering our ACT runners over the 26.2 miles course. Joined by the runner’s friends and family, we will be based in Shadwell around mile 13.5, after Tower Bridge. This spot also allows us to cheer runners on again at mile 22. It really will be a brilliant day!
