Presents Galore, 28 – 30 November 2025 – Newmarket

Presents Galore is East Anglia’s largest annual Christmas Fair. ACT and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital (CCH) have once again been chosen to be one of three charity beneficiaries.

ACT has a great opportunity to host a stall at the fair. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the stall. Here, we will look to sell Christmas cards, and raffle tickets for the event’s main raffle and we are also looking into other activities, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of the Cambridge Children’s Hospital’s plans.

Date and Times:

Friday 28 November – 4pm – 8pm

Saturday 29 November – 9am – 5pm

Sunday 30 November – 10am – 4pm

Christmas Car Parking Scheme, 29 November – 31 December 2025 – Cambridge

The Rotary Club of Cambridge South is once again running its Christmas Car Parking Scheme, offering Christmas shoppers the chance to park all day in central Cambridge in return for a minimum ÂŁ7 donation to support ACT and the new Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital, along with other local causes.

The scheme operates on the weekends in two city centre car parks: Saturday 29 November – Sunday 28 December 2025

  • Downing Site (Tennis Court Road)
    • Saturdays: 8:30am–4:00pm
    • Sundays: 10:00am–3:00pm
  • Department of Chemistry (Lensfield Road)
    • Saturdays: 10:00am–5:00pm
    • Sundays: 11:00am–5:00pm

Both car parks will also be open from 29 December to 31 December 2025.

This initiative is made possible through the generous support of the University Estates Department, the Downing Site, and the University of Cambridge Department of Chemistry, who have kindly allowed free use of their facilities.
