Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust

Brooke and Rosie’s Stepping Out Challenge

Whether it's at nursery, school, college or university, fundraising for Addenbrooke’s hospital and the Rosie is a great way to engage with your school community and make a real difference to the lives of others.

Brooke and Rosie’s Stepping Out Challenge is a way to promote healthy living to young people and an opportunity for schools to support Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals.

Using free pedometers, (sponsored by Volvo), we’re asking children to count the number of steps they use during PE activities, throughout the day or over the course of a week, and collect sponsorship.

Brooke Bear and Rosie Rabbit would be happy to come along on the day if they can, or attend a school assembly to talk about the hospitals.

We will provide all the materials you need, including age appropriate information about ACT, sponsorship envelopes, suggested lesson plans and pedometers for the children to keep.
