Organising or taking part in an existing fundraising event is a great way to support Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals, whilst having fun at the same time!

 

What's on?

27 September 2017 - Kick Cancer Cup, Histon Football Club 

The 3rd annual #KickCancerCup charity football match to raise money for the oncology department at Addenbrooke's Hospital. 26 year old Samantha Isaacson was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancel in March 2015. Having played football for longer than she can remember and coaching both girls and women locally, Sam is well-known within women’s football in Cambridgeshire.  

October - Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal parties

8 October - Grantchester Fun Run - 10km fun run in support of ACT's Blood Cancer Appeal

17 October - Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal Fashion Show, sponsored by Grand Arcade and Rigby and Peller, Grand Arcade

The fourth annual Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal Fashion Show. Breast Cancer patients and Survivors will be taking over the 1st Floor of the Grand Arcade in Cambridge and modelling the latest fashions to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal. Tickets are £15 each 

14 October - The Kick Cancer Charity Ball - raising money for Addenbrooke's Oncology Day Unit. See the flyer here and more information here.

2 November - Bruch Violin Concerto and Beethoven Symphony No6. West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge. 

Tickets £10 available from https://www.adcticketing.com/whats-on/concert/concert-for-bellas-fund-2017/ . All money raised will help fund research into children with inflammatory bowel disease.

Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Fashion Show in memory of Isla Jordon. 

This is our fourth Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal Fashion Show.. Breast Cancer patients and Survivors will be taking over the 1st Floor of the Grand Arcade in Cambridge and modelling the latest fashions to raise awareness and much needed funds for the ABC Appeal.

This year we have decided to name the event in memory of Isla Jordon

On 15th August 2017 Isla Jordan passed away in the Arthur Rank Hospice Cambridge following a brave 3 year battle with metastatic breast cancer, most of Isla’s treatment took place at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Isla was a graphic designer by trade but more recently a full time mother to Rose who she cared for throughout her illness. Isla was a beautiful, colourful, vivacious and well known character in Cambridge with a keen eye for fashion and would have been taking part in this year’s Addenbooke's Breast Cancer Appeal Fashion Show on 17th October if possible 

Many of her family and friends will be attending including her Fiancé Mike and sisters Cheryl and Lucy.

Ticket information is below ,

Tickets are £15 each and this includes a welcome drink. The evening will include an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and the draw will take place in the night.
