Raising money for the paediatric oncology ward – Ward C2.
I ran the Berlin marathon on 29 September 2008 to raise funds for Ward C2 who helped my friend's daughter, Danielle Lefaar, battle with a brain tumour.
I am a first time marathon runner, motivated absolutely by Danielle's battle. My daughter is one of her friends and I wanted to do something and Danielle's family elected ACT as the charity they would like to support. I am a partner in law firm Leeds Day Solicitors in Huntingdon so I fit my training around work and three children.
