Shelly and Rachael's fundraising party

Raising money for Ward C9 - Transplant Ward
Thank you for visiting Shelly's Transplant Recovery fundraising page.
On 7 February 2009 Rachael (pictured on right) and her sister Shelly (pictured on left) will be holding a fundraising party to raise money for the hospital which saved Shelly's life. It will mark five years since Shelly's emergency liver transplant and Rachael's 30th birthday.
Following Shelly's transplant on 21 January 2004 she has made an incredible recovery. It is a real milestone to reach five years on and to note how well Shelly is doing and how grateful we all are to Addenbrooke's.
This is our chance to give something back and to thank Shelly's donor and his family, without whom Shelly wouldn't be here.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate to Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) - Ward C9 (the Transplant Ward) who will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Shelly was given the gift of life - now it's your chance to say thank you!
