Online shopping with Hospital Gift
Shopping online? You can help raise money for Addenbrooke's and the Rosie at the same time! You can buy items from many of your favourite stores online by clicking through to their websites via the Hospital Gift website (when asked to register just choose Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from the 'Eastern' list). Stores include: Asda, Boots and Homebase. Every time you do, the store will donate a percentage of its commission to the hospital, To browse stores click here.
Charity2Charity - get bidding for Addenbrooke's!
Charity2Charity is a new online auction site helping charities raise money with their own auction pages and online shop. ACT auctions and sells items that have been kindly donated by our generous supporters.
ClickNow search engine
ACT is pleased to announce that you now have a choice of ACT search engines, ClickNow or Google, so you can use the one that best suits you. By searching on the ACT ClickNow page a donation will be made to ACT at no cost to you or us. www.clicknow.org.uk/ACT
The ACT Google page
The ACT Google page works in exactly the same way as the usual Google site except by searching through the ACT page, a percentage of money is donated to Addenbrooke's. Please save the link to your favourites or as your home page. http://google.act4addenbrookes.org.uk
ACT badge for your website
ACT has created a badge that can be added to and displayed within any HTML-based web pages e.g. blogs, social networking sites, personal websites. This is just an image that can be added to web pages by simply copying and pasting the code at the link below. All visitors to your sites will then be able to see this badge and have the opportunity to donate and link through to the ACT site. Badge link
Recycle your mobile
If you have an old mobile phone, don’t just throw it in the bin, recycle it using an ACT Recycling Appeal envelope. Go to the Recycling Appeal website for more information.
eBay for charity
If you’re selling an item on eBay, you might want to consider donating a percentage of your sales to ACT in the ‘Choose a Charity’ section. Look out for the blue and yellow ribbon logo, which indicates 'eBay for charity'. www.ebay.co.uk
