Charlie Pitcher
Charlie Pitcher's Transatlantic Solo Row
Starts December 2009!
Raising money for the Renal Unit
Just one man rowing 2,900 miles across the Atlantic in a 7m boat!
Besides rowing to the other side of the Atlantic solo, Charlie's main aim is to raise money to help fund much needed equipment for the Renal Unit at Addenbrooke’s.
Charlie Pitcher is no stranger to the water, having been involved in the America's Cup, several Admiral's Cups, Whitbread and Olympic campaigns, but now he faces his sternest challenge yet – rowing the WoodVale Atlantic Rowing Race solo!
