Norwich to Addenbrooke's bike ride

Raising money for the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) in memory of Rod Watling.
"On the 16th January 2008 my partner Rod suddenly collapsed at home. He had suffered a brain hemorrhage and was taken to the Addenbrooke's NCCU unit. He later received an operation to release the pressure on his brain but sadly this was not enough and Rod died on the 17th January 2008.
I know everything possible was done to save Rod and the care and support me his daughter Vicky and the rest of the family received at this tragic time from the staff on the NCCU was amazing. I couldn't of got through the day without them.
This is why me and two of mine and Rod's closest friends have decided to do something to show our appreciation. So on the 23rd of August 2008 me, Gary and Allan will be biking from Norwich to Addenbrooke's to raise funds for the NCCU to thank them for all they have done and in memory of Rod Watling a truly unique person."
